It's everywhere...every class...every day at work...Global global global.
I get it. Nothing wrong with a little global competition. I know it's out there. I know if utilized correctly it can help business--if used incorrectly it can hurt business, just like anything else. I go from this class that talks about how flat the world is, to my next class of international business that warns the world isn't that flat.
I agree with both.
I just wish that instead of arguing about the extent of globalization, we had some solid direction as to how to deal with it. If Americans are predisposed to being ethnocentric, shouldn't we be talking about things we can do--things we should know--to help us be more "open" as mentioned in the articles?
So Global global global...I get it...but now what?
